Hello again! Here are Fall events at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall.
PHILADELPHIA 76ERS VS. BROOKLYN NETS*
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13 7:00 PM
The Philadelphia 76ers will take their game from the city to the seaside in an historic “Boardwalk Classic” match against the Brooklyn Nets at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall. The game is sponsored by Caesars Atlantic City and Global Spectrum with Longport Media serving as a promotional partner. Game time is 7 PM. Tickets are available in the upper and lower level for $10, $29 and $49. Courtside and premium ticket prices are $150, $125, $100, $85 and $75.

The Boardwalk Classic will mark the third meeting of the Sixers and Nets at Boardwalk Hall, the first two being wins for Philadelphia. On October 9, 1982, a Sixers team led by Head Coach Billy Cunningham and game-high scorer Darryl Dawkins beat the Nets in a 93-91 victory. The following year, on October 8, 1983, Moses Malone’s 19 points and 18 points from Julius “Dr. J” Erving spurred the Sixers to their 117-113 overtime win.
MUSSELMAN’S APPLE SAUCE FAMILY SKATING TRIBUTE

The combination of stellar skating and beautiful music will come alive with both children and adults bringing the magic of parenthood to life on the ice in this one-of-a-kind show. The show will be broadcast nationally on NBC Nov. 18 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST. as part of the Pandora NBC Skating Series. The event is presented by Caesars Atlantic City and co-promoted by Disson Skating and StarGames.

Superstar Carrie Underwood will return to Boardwalk Hall November 9 as part of her arena tour this fall, “The Blown Away Tour.” The North American tour dates will be presented and hydrated by vitaminwater®, sponsored by Olay, and promoted by AEG Live. Special guest Hunter Hayes will open. Carrie’s two previous headline tours, 2008’s “Carnival Ride Tour” and 2010’s “Play On Tour,” performed for a combined total of nearly 250 shows with 2.2 million fans in attendance, and she wrapped both years as the top-ranked female country touring artist.
Since releasing Some Hearts in 2005, Underwood has sold more than 14 million albums with Some Hearts, 2007’s Carnival Ride, and 2009’s Play On. She’s amassed 14 No. 1 singles, six of which she co-wrote, and became the first country artist in history and the only American Idol winner ever to achieve 10 No. 1 singles from their first two albums. Underwood currently leads the nominations for the upcoming CMT Music Awards with five. She is a five-time Grammy winner, a two-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, a three-time Country Music Association and ACM Female Vocalist winner, and a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry.

The Albany Devils will check back into Boardwalk Hall this winter for a series of four regular season hockey games. The series will take place from November through February and is sponsored by the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority and Caesars Atlantic City. The Albany Devils serve as the top developmental team for the three-time Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils. Last season, 15 players appeared in games for both the 2012 NHL Eastern Conference Champions and Albany. All four of the games will be contested on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. Local hockey fans will be able to enjoy the Albany Devils face off against popular rivals on the following dates: November 25 vs. Wilkes Barre/Scranton (PA) Penguins; January 13 vs. the Bridgeport (CT) Sound Tigers; January 20 vs. Adirondack (NY) Phantoms, and February 24 vs. Hershey (PA) Bears.
Series and individual game tickets are on sale now. Individual games are priced as follows: $26 for the first two rows on the glass, $21 for the lower bowl, and $16 for the upper bowl. Series ticket packages will be $99 for the first two rows on the glass, $79 for the lower bowl, and $59 for the upper bowl. Series tickets can be purchased up until one week before the first game.

INDOOR AUTO RACING

Indoor Auto Racing will return to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall in 2013 for the eleventh year under the promotion of Len Sammons. Tickets will be available beginning August 17.
The Three-Quarter Midgets hit speeds upwards of 70 mph while running around a course set up on the historic landmark Boardwalk Hall concrete floor. Feature events find a minimum of 24 cars taking the green flag providing some hair-raising action for fans. Each year professional race car drivers from many different segments of the sport; and over 10 different states, compete at the event. The Champ Kart and Slingshot divisions will also be included in the exciting Atlantic City race weekend. Racing will begin on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Each night will include qualifying races and a feature event for the headline division.
Tickets for Friday are $25 for front row reserved; $20 for lower level reserved, $17 for upper level reserved, $15 for general admission adults, and $5 for general admission kids 12 and under. Tickets for Saturday are priced at $30 for front row reserved, $25 for lower level reserved, $22 for upper level reserved, $20 for general admission adults, and $5 general admission kids 12 and under. THE WHO, one of rock’s legendary and defining bands, have announced a major North American arena tour where they’ll perform their iconic 1973 double album QUADROPHENIA in its entirety, along with a selection of WHO classics.
