Fairfield Fire Department Responds to Plow Truck Fire Tuesday Night

FAIRFIELD, NJ - On Tuesday night, the Fairfield Fire Department reported to the scene of a fully involved truck fire at Fairfield Road and Route 46.

Captain Jay Artale reported that the incident began at 7:56 p.m. when a plow truck became fully engulfed in flames.

According to Assistant Fire Chief Tim Connolly, Captain Matt Frederickson and firefighter Matt Scholtz were able to extinguish the flames within 10 minutes and the vehicle was then turned over to the owner and towed. There were no injuries to report at the time of the incident.
