EVERY SECOND COUNTS… WESTFIELD AREA Y OFFERS ADULT LECTURE ON STROKE ADVANCEMENTS, SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

The Westfield Area Y is offering a very important Lunch and Learn for adults this session. “Every Second Counts….Stroke Advancements” will be held on Wednesday, February 20th from 12:30-1:30pm at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield. Dr. Kyle Chapple, Neurosurgical Specialist at Saint Barnabas Hospital, will discuss the signs and symptoms of stroke, current treatments and advancement in treatments.
Dr. Kyle Chapple is a native of Lorain, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Chapple completed medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio and then completed residency in Neurological Surgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University where he was a Chief-resident. He trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Oncologic Surgery of the brain and spine. Dr. Chapple’s fellowship was also completed at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He is one of 11 Neurosurgeons at ANS Atlantic Neurosurgical Specialists and specializes in Endovascular Neurosurgery as well as spine surgeries.
A light lunch is included. Members and non-members are welcome to attend. There is a nominal registration fee for this lunch and learn. Interested participants must register by February 15th at the Welcome Center of the Main Y facility.
