Art Strings Exhibit and Reception Friday June 8, 6–8 PM Evalyn Dunn Gallery 549 South Avenue West, Westfield, NJ The Evalyn Dunn Gallery will host the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Art Strings fundraiser at a public reception on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 6–8 PM. Please be sure to stop by to view this year's fabulous collection of painted violins and support the NJSO and an outstanding local arts center! Not only will you have the chance to view original artwork, but you can also purchase raffle tickets to win one of the Art Strings violins. Light refreshments will be served. Art Strings is a creative art project that raises funds for the NJSO's extensive youth and educational outreach programs. The NJSO commissioned 10 local artists to create individual works of art using violins as their canvas, drawing inspiration from a musical program or work the NJSO presented in its 2011–12 season. The violins have been displayed at select concerts and local galleries throughout the year, culminating in a raffle drawing on June 18, 2012.
