Essex County Prosecutor's Office Releases Photo of Suspect in Reginald Terry Murder

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force released a photo of a suspect that is being sought in the murder of Reginald Terry, who was killed on Dec. 21 in Newark. Terry, 18, was shot and killed at approximately 1:15 a.m. near Washington and Market streets.
Damiar Pendergrass, 18, of Newark was arrested shortly thereafter in Irvington and a second suspect, Raquan Langford, 19, was arrested in Newark. Langford and Pendergrass have been charged with murder, conspiracy, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Bail is set for each at $750,000 and are currently incarcerated in the Essex County Correctional Facility.
The released photo shows the unidentified suspect exiting The Loft, located at 260 Washington St. in Newark. He is believed to be approximately 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-5 light-skinned black male.
