Essex County Executive DiVincenzo Congratulates Winners of Second Annual Essex County Open golf tournament

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. (right) congratulates Short Hills resident Richard Timbrell (center) for winning the Senior Division and William Canon from Nutley (fourth from left) for winning the Adult Division of the 2nd Annual Essex County Open Golf Tournament. The championship round was played Saturday, September 29th at Essex County Hendricks Field Golf Course in Belleville. Two qualifying rounds were played at Essex County Weequahic Golf Course and Essex County Francis Byrne Golf Course earlier in the month. Timbrell won the Senior Division with a three-round total of 223 strokes and Canon won the Adult Division for the second consecutive year with a three-round total of 215 strokes. A total of 74 golfers participated in the tournament.
