Equinox Summit Event Teaches Physical Health Essential to Financial Well-Being

SUMMIT, NJ - A healthy mind, body and an equally fit financial outlook are not only related, but mutually dependent. That was the message from Scott Redler, chief strategic officer of T3 Live, who was the featured speaker at Equinox Summit's "Fitness and Finance" program.

"Fitness and Finance" offered a powerful one-two wellness punch, with attendees first powering their way through MetCon 3, a state-of-the-art group fitness class that taxed all three energy systems. MetCon 3 consists of 10 movements, performed in three sets, for 60 seconds each.  
 
After class, everyone made their way to Equinox's Juice Bar/Cafe, where Redler walked guests through a presentation that made it abundantly clear that the core tenets which apply to a strong fitness regimen are also key to a solid bottom line for one's personal finances.  T3 Live trains, coaches, and mentors traders how to develop an edge in the market, so that they can put their money to work with confidence.
 
Redler practices what he preaches, structuring his day beginning at 4:45 a.m. when he wakes up.  He dedication to fitness is reflected not only his lifestyle, but in the fact he has completed dozens of triathlons, three marathons and two Ironman events.  His ultimate inspiration was the passing of a best friend, and his decision to devote himself to raise money for worthy causes via the fitness events he participates in. 
 
Some gems shared by Redler, who takes an Equinox Spin Class every day -- normally at lunch time-- include:
 
* Balance is the key to happiness
 
* There is no elevator to success - fitness-wise or financially
 
* Physical and Financial Health are intertwined - cannot have one without the other
 
* Health of any kind requires creating positive habits, repetition, and consistency
 
Before embarking on any fitness or financial mission, Redler told the audience that they must be realistic about themselves and their circumstances, and develop a process they can manage.  A good start is for people to ask themselves a few key questions, including:
 
Where are you at now?
 
Where do you want to be?
 
How much time do you realistically have to devote to the task/goal?
