EMT Gets $7,791 in Workers Comp Case

PATERSON, NJ - The City Council on Tuesday night approved a $7,791 workers compensation settlement with Melinda Powell, who was injured in September 2010 while working as an emergency medical technician.

Powell sustained injuries to her left hand when a "stair-chair" fell out of an ambulance, according to the council's resolution.
