SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The Eden Gourmet grocery store on South Orange Avenue, which was sold about two weeks ago, will be changing its name to Ashley Marketplace when it holds its Grand Re-Opening Event on March 2 and 3.

The transition will be similar to the one that occurred in Hoboken in May of last year, when the Garden of Eden market was sold and became Aspen Marketplace, in a deal between the same two companies.  Representatives from the market would not comment on the reasons behind the transaction.  It is not believed that any major changes are planned for the market.

The restaurant, Above, on the second floor of the building, has not been sold, and will remain in operation.
