WEST ORANGE, NJ - If you've been driving up and down Eagle Rock Avenue between Prospect Avenue and the entrance to the Highlawn Pavillion, you might have noticed a lot of equipment, workmen and activity recently. Essex County is upgrading the path near the Eagle Rock Avenue, clearing debris, leveling the path and more.
The project is expected to be completed shortly, and it will provide the community with an upgraded pathway. There are no sidewalks along that stretch of Eagle Rock Avenue, and pedestrians are reminded to be mindful of the dangers of walking in the road.
