Dems Seek Candidates for County & State Offices

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie is seeking candidates interested in interviewing for all state and county elected positions within Passaic County. They include the State Senate and Assembly in six legislative districts (34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40) as well as Passaic County Sheriff and Passaic County Freeholder.
“The Democratic Party wants to meet qualified people who are interested in politics and potentially running as candidates for elective office. We are encouraging those residents interested as potential candidates to send resumes to my office,” Currie said in a press release.
Currie is asking those interested in politics and possible candidacy for elected offices to contact Rita Pascrell in the county Democratic organization's office at (973) 279-4647 and to send a resume and cover letter by February 18.
Currie also is asking incumbents to send him a letter if they plan to run again.
