Daisy Deguzman of Livingston Sentenced for Kick-Back Scheme

LIVINGSTON, NJ - Daisy Deguzman, 70, of Livingston, New Jersey, was sentenced today to six months in prison and six months of home detention for her involvement with a kickback scheme with a diagnostic facility in Orange, New Jersey, according to U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.
Dr. Deguzman pleaded guilty on June 4, 2012, in Newark federal court to one count of violating the federal healthcare program anti-kickback statute.
