Starting April 30th, the 9-week class will be held Wednesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at Temple B’nai Jeshurun, 1025 South Orange Avenue, in Short Hills. Beginning and experienced fiction writers and poets are invited to join a writing workshop that is designed to help them discover and nurture their own voices.

For more information and to register, visit writerstudio.com or call (212) 255-7075. Temple members receive a $50 discount using the code tbj.

Hailed by The New York Times as "the most personal of the programs,” The Writers Studio is founded on the belief that when the desire to write is strong enough, anyone can learn the craft necessary for full creative expression. The school’s Advisory Board consists of acclaimed writers and editors: Kathryn Court, Carl Dennis, Jennifer Egan, Julia Glass, Bill Henderson, Edward Hirsch, Matthew Klam, Amanda Moretti, Robert Pinsky, Grace Schulman, and in memorium, Yehuda Amichai. Classes are offered in New York City, New Jersey, Tucson, San Francisco, Amsterdam, and Online.
