WEST ORANGE, NJ - An accident on 280 West near exit 8 in West Orange this morning at 8:27 am temporarily stopped rush hour traffic.  According to the West Orange Police Department, officers, Fire, and Emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene of an early morning accident involving two passenger vehicles and a tractor trailer.  A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The tractor trailer was on the side of the interstate, one vehicle was in the roadway, and one was on the divider.

280 West was reopened by 8:47 am.

The State police were in charge of the scene, and WOPD assisted.  No further information is available at this time.
