Crash Course in Auto Accidents and Insurance Coverage: Know What You Need and What You Don’t

Scotch Plains Public Library invites the public to an evening with local attorney Jeffrey Strauss on Thursday, November 14 at 7 pm. Mr. Strauss will speak about auto collisions and how to best protect yourself and your family in case of an accident.
Drawing upon his 27-year career representing victims as a trial attorney specializing in bodily injury, personal injury, medical malpractice and auto crashes, he will present several scenarios to illustrate his points. He will recount memorable trials and what can be learned from them. Discussion will include liability issues, insurance elements that are compulsory in New Jersey, and those that are optional. Mr. Strauss does not sell insurance, or promote products.
Jeffrey E. Strauss is designated by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, and has been the Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Medical Malpractice Subcommittee for two years. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Union County Bar Association, a Master in the Richard J. Hughes Inns of Court of Union County, a member of the New Jersey Association of Trial Lawyers and the American Association for Justice formerly known as The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He practices law in Westfield and lives in Scotch Plains.
