Planning a trip to Italy or searching for family roots? Then join us at Sussex County Community College for an interactive Italian experience where you will learn conversational Italian while brushing up on the basics of Italian grammar.

In an active exchange with the instructor, Gilda Bello and classmates, students will learn to speak idiomatic expressions used by Italians in everyday language. The eight-session, weekly course begins Thursday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the College. Students will learn at their own pace, so the course is open to both beginners and those exposed to the language. Students will participate in discussions of tradition and culture while speaking Italian in an atmosphere of typical Italian hospitality. Learning to parlare Italiano is not only fun, but will prepare students well enough to converse with native Italians on that future trip to Italy.

The cost is $250.00.

Simple breathing techniques, gentle yoga poses, and meditation instruction to improve peace of mind and body are covered. Weather permitting, some classes will be held outdoors.
