WEST ORANGE, NJ - On Tuesday, September 25 at 10:45 a.m., Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen will visit Green Hill Inc., 103 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange, New Jersey, to tour the Green House® Homes and discuss senior long-term care issues with President and CEO Toni Lynn Davis.

Due to the redistricting of New Jersey’s Congressional Districts, West Orange will be a part of the Congressman’s district beginning in January 2013. Frelinghuysen was invited to meet and be greeted by Green Hill elders who are interested in meeting their new Congressman and to speak to him about their concerns.

“We are thrilled to have Congressman Frelinghuysen visit Green Hill and take the time to speak with us on the issues that concern our community,” said Toni Lynn Davis. “We have very politically active residents here and they are looking forward to sharing their thoughts and ideas with the Congressman.”

The Green House® Homes at Green Hill are the first of its kind in New Jersey and represent a complete culture shift in the way long-term health care is provided to elders. The Green House Home model is proving to be a cost-effective alternative to institutionalized care that provides elderswith a home environment, 24-hour attention, private rooms with private bathrooms, an eat-in full-service kitchen, and 24-hour health care, at or below the cost of traditional nursing homes.
