BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Commuter parking is addressed as part of the future development of the existing Municipal Complex, Councilman Bob Woodruff has confirmed.
"The developer will be required, as a matter of obligation, to keep the same number of commuter spots available," said Woodruff. He further stated that consideration for additional parking at or about the same location could be an option.
Township Planner Mike Mastretta will address various parking options during the public hearings. These four to five pubic hearing meetings will be held during consecutive weeks in September. Township officials strongly encourage residents to attend.
Hearing dates to be confirmed. TAP into Berkeley Heights will report on updates as they develop on the potential "Land Swap" between the township and the Church of the Little Flower.
