Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service in Livingston
Friday, November 9, 2012 • 1:58pm
The Livingston Interfaith Clergy Association will host the annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 18, at 7:30 pm at Temple B'nai Abraham. 300 East Northfield Road, Livingston. Clergy from many houses of worship in the township will lead and participate in the service. The adult and children's choirs from Temple Emanuel of West Essex will also participate. This year's offering will be directed to CHOW, (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse) a joint effort of the Livingston Clergy Association. Livingston CHOW was begun several years ago as a way for all the houses of worship to pool their resources together in order to more effectively meet the needs of people in need of Livingston and the surrounding communities. The program is managed by Sister Barbara Howard through the Sharing office of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 386 South Livingston Avenue in Livingston.
All are invited to attend the service to join together as one community and offer thanks for all of our blessings. For more information, please contact Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz, 973-994-2290 or e-mail email@example.com.
