LIVINGSTON, NJ – The Livingston community has started a Meal Train for the Tevlin family after the loss of Brendan Tevlin, the victim of a homicide that occurred last week.
The meal train was created to organize meal giving for the family. There are 265 meal train participants, bringing food to the family everyday now through August. Most participants are bringing dinners and desserts to help the family.
Meal giving provides the community with the opportunity to give to the Tevlin family, in addition to the many ways that they have been - including the lemonade stands, where locals have been raising money for the family.
Carrie Wightman organized the meal train for the family; giving participants information on where to drop off meals, the number family members and preferred drop off time.
Currently, all of the meal dates are booked through August 18, but there will be spots opening up for days following. To find out more about the meal train or to join, click HERE.
