Community Blood Drive & Toys for Tots Collection, Friday, November 29, 2013

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - On Friday, November 29, 2013 from 10 AM till 3 PM, youth members of Explorer Post 378 and Venture Crew 368 of Berkeley Heights, NJ, units of the Boy Scouts of America within Patriots’ Path Council, will partner to administer a blood drive with the American Red Cross. The blood drive will be hosted by the NJ Sharing Network located at 691 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ 07974. Blood donors can make appointments by signing up online at redcrossblood.org and entering sponsor code: NJ Sharing Network on the blood donation appointment page or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.

This Blood Drive location will also be a collection site for the US Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots campaign. New unwrapped toys will be accepted during the Blood Drive hours on November 29.

Exploring and Venturing are co-ed young adult programs of the Boy Scouts of America for ages 14-20. Explorer Post 378 is chartered by the Berkeley Heights Rescue Squad and Venture Crew 368 is chartered by the Berkeley Heights VFW Post 6259.

NJ Sharing Network is a non-profit, federally designated organ procurement organization responsible for the recovery of organs and tissue for New Jersey residents currently awaiting transplantation, and is part of the national recovery system.
