Dear Paterson students,

I want to take this moment to wish you the best of success in this coming year. It is my sincere hope that each of you excel to unprecedented academic and artistic levels above any previous year.

I encourage each of you to study hard, to enjoy scholastic life and to do all you can to achieve perfect attendance. You are the future of this city. You are the future of this nation. Its up to you to rewrite history. That can only be done by means of a good education.

Please take advantage of your local library. It is chock full of educational materials that are designed to assist you in learning anything you desire. I encourage you to form "Reading Clubs" with your friends.

Please listen to your Teachers, Parents, Ministers and Mentors. Its important to have an open mind when looking to grow in this world. You are beginning this year with a clean slate and afresh start. Utilize this opportunity wisely.

Lastly, take time to write down any goals you may have (short-term and long-term) keep that list of goals in a place where they can be easily found. Be sure to write in that journal daily.

I trust that you will do well this year.

All The Best,

Mr. Corey L. Teague
