Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator Defensive Driving Course for the Ambulance Driver was given at the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad by instructor John Meyers. John is a retired NYC police detective, was a Highway Police Officer for NY, and is currently a volunteer EMT and firefighter in NYC as well as a Federal Police Officer. John offered to teach the class for free.

"The driver training today was outstanding. The material reminded me how to drive, the instructor gave me an example of how to live, and our Rescue Squad leadership showed class with the way they treated the speaker. Makes you feel lucky to be a part of such a great organization." - Bob McNutt
