PATERSON, NJ - The City Council is considering make the intersection of Nagle Street and Carlisle Avenue a four-way stop.
In response to residents' concerns about traffic safety in the area, the council is scheduled to take a preliminary vote on the change at its March 12 meeting.
At present, there are stop signs on Nagle street at the corner. But the city traffic engineer says the number of accidents at the location would decrease if stop signs were added to Carlisle Avenue as well.
