PATERSON, NJ – State-appointed superintendent Donnie Evans announced last week that he has picked Lauren Kazmark to become Paterson Public Schools’ new Director of Humanities.
Kazmark, whose husband Keith is the mayor of Woodland Park, will make $113,630 in the new position. District payroll records show she made $88,500 last year in her previous job, which was interim Director of Assessment, Planning and Instruction.
Kazmark, whose resume says she has a doctorate and master in Educational Leadership, started work for Paterson Public Schools in August 2007 as supervisor of language arts. Before that, she was a special education teacher in Paramus and Woodland Park, according to her resume.
