City Resident Shot on Rosa Parks Blvd. Monday Night

PATERSON, NJ - Police are investigating the shooting of a 34-year-old city man on Rosa Parks Blvd. late Monday night.
According to Lt. Patrick Murray, the victim is in stable condition at St. Joseph's Medical Center after being shot in the right leg at about 10:20 p.m. when he was walking south on Rosa Parks Blvd. toward Hamilton Avenue. The victim was walking when he heard shots fired and then realized that he had been wounded.
He made his way to a residence on Hamilton Avenue, where someone at the residence contacted authorities and the victim was transported to the hospital.
