City Man Commits Suicide After Elderly Mother's Death

PATERSON, NJ - A 59-year-old city man committed suicide Thursday morning several days after his 81-year-old mother died of natural causes, police said.
The mother and son lived together in an apartment on Webster Street, police said. The woman apparently died several days ago and the man remained with her in the apartment for that time before he killed himself, police believe.
