City Looks to Ban Paking on Garret Street

PATERSON, NJ - The City Council is weighing a proposal to ban all parking on Garret Street between Carlisle and Caldwell avenues in the 2nd Ward.
The city traffic engineer has determined that section of the road is too narrow to accommodate parking along with moving vehicles.
An ordinance enacting the change is scheduled for a preliminary vote on Tuesday. If that passes, the city would then hold a public hearing on the issue.
