This summer, while students and teachers are no longer in class, the buildings will be far from quiet. The Board of Education has scheduled a number of improvement projects:
In Bragg School, the floor tile replacement project that was started last summer will be completed this year. At Dickerson, Harrington Construction has been contracted to landscape the solar array area at the entrance driveway. At Black River Middle School, new bleachers are being installed in the gym and a picnic area will be created next to the outside basketball court, thanks to Mikaela Gegelys and Katie Hurdman, who designed and raised funds as part of their Girl Scout Silver Award Project. At all three schools, roofs will be re-coated, and the entrance vestibules will be altered to enhance security. As the progress continues, look for pictures to come!!
