CHATHAM, NJ - On Saturday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Chatham Borough residents, friends and neighbors are encouraged to participate in the Spring Clean 2014 event to beautify the downtown area.

All participants gather at the Gazebo in Reasoner Park (Firehouse Plaza and Fairmount Avenue) to sign in and receive their assignment.

Join the fun as residents clean up, mulch, prune and weed public spaces and give a face-lift to Rotary Park. Grab your garden gloves, rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows and lend a hand.

All participants receive a FREE T-shirt that identifies them as community volunteers and which was designed by a Chatham student.

Participants of all ages are welcome and are encouraged to call Janice Piccolo at Chatham Borough Municipal Hall to register. Her telephone number is 973-635-0674 X 200 or email at Jpiccolo@chathamborough.org or MyChathamNJ@chathamborough.org

Donations are also welcome to help reduce our costs at www.MyChathamNJ.org
