Celebrate our Relay For Life success Remember 100 years of American Cancer Society milestones Fight back to make this cancer’s last century

The American Cancer Society, the official sponsor of birthdays, celebrates a huge milestone this year. On May 22, 2013 we will be 100 years old. 1913, in a world where cancer was a forbidden word, it was 15 volunteers who came together and formed what we know as the American Cancer Society. It was volunteers who took up the fight 100 years ago, and it is volunteers who will finish the fight! Join Relay For Life and help us make this cancer’s last century.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing community event that gives us a chance to celebrate the lives of survivors who have battled cancer, honor the caregivers, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
We hope that you will join us to officially kick off the 2013 experience, learn how to create your own team, join an existing team, participate as a survivor or caregiver, involve your local connections, support other Relay participants, and receive helpful resources and information. It’s a great opportunity to find out what Relay is all about and how to get involved. Light refreshments will be served.
