Casino Night to Benefit Glasser Scholarship Fund Slated for Mar. 1

SUMMIT, NJ - The Thomas I. Glasser Memorial Scholarship Fund will be holding a Casino Night on March 1 at the Summit Elks Lodge.

The scholarship fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing college scholarships Summit High School graduates interested in the field of Criminal Justice and to the children of Summit Police Officers.  The fund, previously known as the Summit PBA Memorial Scholarship Fund, was renamed in memory of local resident and founding member Thomas I. Glasser, who was killed in the World Trade Center on 9/11.

All proceeds from the evening will be applied directly to continuing the fund’s mission of providing scholarships.  For more information and ticket purchases, please call 908 / 598-2195, ext. 2228.  Doors will open at 7 p.m., and The Elks Lodge is located at 40 Map;e Street.
