BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Berkeley Heights will experience "the best car show on the East Coast" as "Cars and Croissants" rolls into town on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Local car collectors ranging from vintage Jaguars to modern-day super cars will make an appearance and fill the Kings parking lot behind Yogoccino (off of Springfield Avenue).
The "Cars and Croissants" started as word of mouth in 2009 attracting 30 cars. It is expected that 100 collector cars will roll through downtown Berkeley Heights.
Keep your eyes out for the Red Ferrari 599 GTO, an all-original 1911 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, Ferraris, Lamborghini; as well as Pontiac GTOs, Mustangs, electric cars and hand-built cars. All are welcome.
"Come join us and have a lot of F-U-N, which stands for Family, Unity and Neighborhood; and support our local businesses," said Yogoccino owner Steven Guastamacchia.
The event is organized by Guastamacchia and sponsored by Yogoccino Cafe along with co-sponsor Clementes Pizzeria. As local business owners, they play an integral role in the revitalization of downtown Berkeley Heights, recently named the sixth-best small town to live in America by CNN Money Magazine.
