WEST ORANGE, NJ - Essex County high school and college students will present "Cabaret for a Cause" on August 25 to raise money for victims of both the Boston bombings and the Oklahoma tornadoes.
"Cabaret for a Cause" is an original musical revue that will feature 30 young performers singing a wide array of music, including pop, rock, and classic musical theater songs that exemplify transitioning from adolescence into adulthood and the passion to change the world.
“We wanted to find a way to use our music to help,” explains Mitchell Epstein, the show’s 16-year-old producer/director from North Caldwell. “This is our chance to do that, not only by entertaining an audience, but encouraging them to join us in reaching out to those who can use our help.”
