WEST ORANGE, NJ - The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has "nothing new to report," in the Brendan Tevlin Homicide investigation.

In a telephone conversation July 8 with Tap into West Orange, Essex County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Katherine Carter said, "It's pretty much status quo at the moment."

In the late evening of June 25, Brendan Tevlin, 19, of Livingston, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a family member's Liberty Jeep in the parking lot of Ronjolyn apartments at 275 Northfield Avenue in West Orange.

The investigation yielded photographs of two males taken from surveillance footage from the Northfield Avenue Delta Gas station around the time of the crime. The photographs were distributed on June 28 by the Prosecutor's Office. In addition, it was determined that Tevlin had been killed at Walker Road and Northfield Avenue and the vehicle moved to the apartment complex.

The 2013 Seton Hall Prep graduate had just completed his first year at the University of Richmond.

The reward for information leading to the capture of Brendan's killer(s), has been raised to $30,000. Individuals with any possible tips or information are asked to call the tips Hotline at (877) 847-7432. All calls will be kept confidential.

Friends and family have been handing out flyers in the Northfield Avenue area as the entire community continues to struggle with the crime.

"The investigation is active and ongoing," said Carter.
