In addition, with talks of a merger between the Newark and Camden law schools, Barbara is heading up a task force on issues related to the contemplated merger.

According to Barbara Schweiger, “This is certainly a wonderful opportunity for me to give back to a school that has given me so much. I took a non-traditional route to law school, returning to my studies while my sons were in school, and Rutgers School of Law-Newark provided me with so many wonderful opportunities in the legal community that I may never have had elsewhere. Moreover, as the legal profession continues to change, I am honored to be involved in discussions with the law school’s administration about curriculum changes to meet the current challenges of the profession.”

Barbara Schweiger’s practice is largely comprised of complex commercial litigation.  She has represented large corporations, hedge funds and Big Four accounting firms in securities fraud and securities-related litigation in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts, as well as other businesses and individuals in business litigation involving breach of contract, unfair competition, intellectual property and business torts.  She has also done pro bono work for Partners for Women & Justice, Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, the Education Law Center and the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice.

Ms. Schweiger is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey (AFBNJ).

Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. is a New Jersey law firm focusing on Family Law, Real Estate Valuation Litigation (Property Tax and Eminent Domain), and Complex Civil Litigation .
