The Westfield Area Y is selling tickets for The Barclays golf tournament August 21-26 at Bethpage State Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to watch 125 of the top golfers compete at the first event in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup.

If you purchase your tickets through Tickets fore Charity, 75% of the ticket cost will be donated back to the Westfield Area Y. A weekly grounds ticket only costs $150 and includes the two practice rounds on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as the four competitive rounds from Thursday-Sunday. Out of the $150 ticket, $112.50 will benefit the Westfield Area Y. Since 1967 The Barclays has been the first of four playoff events in the PGA TOUR. It plays a leading role in the FedExCup, the season-long competition that is the centerpiece of the PGA TOUR season. This specific competition has seen some of the greatest golfers in history including World Golf Hall of Famers Arnold Palmer, Johnny Miller, Raymond Floyd, Seve Ballesteros, Hale Irwin, Curtis Strange and the new defending champion, Dustin Johnson, 2011 winner of The Barclays.
