Assault Victim Found Unconscious in 2nd Ward

PATERSON, NJ - A 23-year-old man was found unconscious with "trauma to his head" early Saturday morning, police said.
The victim was found in the street outside 250 Union Avenue at about 3 am, Sgt. Bert Ribeiro.
As of 9:30 Saturday morning, the man was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. Police have not yet been able to talk to the victim to find out what happened.
