Are You Using Medications Safely?
Thursday, September 26, 2013 • 10:05am
On Wednesday, October 16 at 7 pm, the public is invited to attend a free program on “Using Medications Safely,” which is being held at SAGE Eldercare, 290 Broad Street, Summit.
Michele Cameron, RN, MA, from Atlantic Home Care and Hospice will be discussing medication safety. Because medication errors are a major reason for emergency room visits and hospitalizations, this presentation will focus on ways to take medications safely and identify dangers in administration and side effects. The presentation is part of SAGE’s monthly P.R.E.P. (People Responsible for Elderly Persons) support group meetings.
For more information or to register for the October 16 program, call SAGE Eldercare at 908.598.5548 or e-mail email@example.com. P.R.E.P. (People Responsible for Elderly Persons) support group meetings are always open to the public and are held at 7 pm the third Wednesday of every month at SAGE.
