Allegra & Company supports the Perpetual Prosperity Pumps Foundation (PPPF), and invites the public to join in their efforts.  PPPF takes donated, gently used athletic shoes and distributes them to vendors in Africa to be resold to residents who cannot afford to buy new running shoes. The funds from the used shoe sales go toward providing training and tools to some of the poorest rural farmers in the world.

This is accomplished by educating small farmers in the use of the MORE Farming System. This is the entire focus of PPPF a Not-for-profit Foundation registered in Delaware. They are 100% funded from the sale of ‘gently used athletic shoes’. The highly qualified management of MORE Foundation in Ghana West Africa teaches small farmers and villages how to create Modular Organic Regenerative Environment’s (MORE). From one acre farms to entire regions, MORE is a bottom up approach.

Irrigation pumps are at the core of any sustainable farming practice. After training, PPPF donates bicycle powered pumps, solar powered pumps, and promote, wind, bio-oil, and locally sourced energy. Soil building, composting, water management, tree farming, intensive vegetable production, animal husbandry, mushroom production, beekeeping, poultry, and far more are included in MORE Farming training.

So clean out your closets today & donate to a worthy cause.  What we need is used or new athletic shoes (used meaning not abused/damaged).  No need to send money, just shoes (Sizes 7 and up).  Soccer cleats are also welcomed in all sizes

“We are happy to be partnering with (PPPF)”, said David Allegra. We’ve been involved with this organization for several years and we ask the community to participate.”  Allegra’s collection is on-going so please bring their gently used athletic shoes to our offices located at: 309 South Street, New Providence, NJ.

If you would like to obtain more information about the Adopt-A-Family Program or to register as a collection site, CALL 1-866-994-7773 (PPPF) or check out their website at www.pppafrica.org
