Administrator of Self-Directed Retirement Plans Hosts Free Educational Seminars and Webinars in September and October

Next Generation Trust Services, LLC invites investors to learn more about self-directed retirement plans or making real estate investments within these tax-advantaged plans at several informational seminars and webinars this fall. The free programs will be hosted by Next Generation Trust or sponsored by other organizations providing related education. Self-Directed Plans 101 and 201 will be held at the Next Generation Trust Services office at 75 Livingston Avenue, 3rd floor, in Roseland, N.J. Seating for these in-office seminars is limited and pre-registration is required; call (973) 533-1880 or email Events@NextGenerationTrust.com. Registration information for the other events is included below. All programs are free and open to investors and their advisors.
· Wed., Sept. 19, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. – Self-Directed Plans 201, an intermediate-level course for investors who already understand the basics of self-directed IRAs, goes into more depth about advanced strategies in non-traditional investing. Attendees will learn how to put their investment knowledge to work for them to build more eclectic retirement portfolios. Self-Directed Plans 201 is held on the third Wednesday of every month at Next Generation Trust Services’ office.
· Thurs., Sept. 20, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. – Non-Recourse IRA Loans, an informational webinar presented by Next Generation Trust Services and Matthew Allen of North American Savings Bank. Allen, author of “Leverage Your IRA: Maximize Your Profits with Real Estate” will share the process of becoming approved for an IRA non-recourse loan and what the bank looks for before approval. Self-directed IRA investors may leverage their real estate investment with a non-recourse loan, which is secured by a pledge of collateral, typically real property. Jared Lopez of Next Generation Trust Services will explain the types of retirement plans that can be self-directed, allowable investments, and investment restrictions. · Wed., Oct. 3, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. -- Self-Directed Plans 101, a free beginner- level course, explains what self-directed retirement plans are, covers the types of non-traditional assets allowed in a self-directed plan, and the different types of plans available. Self-Directed Plans 101 is held on the first Wednesday of every month at Next Generation Trust Services and is the primer for Self-Directed Plans 201.
From 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Dave Van Horn of PPR Note Company and Jared Lopez of Next Generation Trust Services will present a free webinar titled “Performing and Non-Performing Note Investing.” Lopez will discuss the different self-directed retirement plans, how to establish an account, and types of investments and restrictions. Van Horn will present on performing and non-performing notes and how to get started investing in this business. Next Generation Trust will also host a client appreciation and business mixer event on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Cielo Restaurant, 169 Passaic Avenue, Fairfield, N.J. from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited and anyone wishing to attend must RSVP in advance to receive an entry ticket.
