Friday, August 8, 2014 • 11:11am

BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ -- Celebrate the music and life of Frank Sinatra, considered by many to be the greatest singer of the 20th century, in a musical tribute, “A Touch of Sinatra” on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Bernards Township Library.

Sinatra rose to fame singing big band numbers. In the 40s and 50s, he had a dazzling array of hit songs and albums and went on to appear in dozens of films, winning an Oscar for From Here to Eternity. He left behind a massive catalog of work that includes iconic tunes like “Love and marriage” and “New York, New York”.

This live hour plus musical show about Sinatra, who grew up in Hoboken, is narrated by Joe Gilligan and performed by Donnie Farraro, who many may find to be the most authentic sounding Sinatra and look-alike in the music industry today.

This program is free and all are welcome to attend. Registration is requested at www.BernardsLibrary.org or by calling 908-204-3031 ext. 116. The Bernards Township Library is located at 32 S. Maple Ave in Basking Ridge.
