5th Ward Shooting Leaves Woman Wounded

PATERSON, NJ - A woman was wounded near the corner of Summer Street and 16th Avenue at about 6 am Sunday morning, police said.
The victim told authorities she was hanging out with some friends when a man walked up to them and started shooting.
Detectives withg the police department's Cease-Fire unit were canvassing the neighborhood and conuducting interviews Sunday morning. Police have not disclosed a possible motive in the case.
