Update on Thursday’s Championship Football Game at Giants Stadium
By Summit High School, Office of Principal Paul W. Sears
11/28/2009

The Hilltopper varsity football team will play Orange High School at 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Giants Stadium.

The ticket prices are $10 for adults and $7 for students & senior citizens. Tickets will only be available to purchase on site at Giants Stadium.

The marching band, band front, and cheerleaders will depart from the school about 2:45 pm on that day. We now believe that they will be allowed to perform at half time, and should get confirmation during the coming days.

We plan to run fan busses from Summit High School to Giants Stadium for $5.00 per person. Tickets will be sold on Monday and Tuesday next week during lunches. Students must submit a permission slip. These are available in the main office, at ticket purchase and emailed through the PTO. No student will be allowed to participate without a permission slip. The fan busses will likely leave the high school at 3:15 pm.

We want to encourage as many students as possible to ride the busses in order to keep our kids safe. Students must ride the busses both to the game and back.

No one, including the competing teams, will be allowed in the stadium until 3:45pm. The parking lot will not be open until shortly before that time. Parking is $5.00 per vehicle. Security will monitor the parking lot. Tailgating is not permitted. Concessions will be open during the game.

This game is a school event and all school rules and Board policies will be in effect.

Guidance and counseling has moved the Financial Aid Program from December 3rd to December 9, 2009.

Auditions for the spring musical have been moved from December 3rd as well. They will be held on December 2nd and December 4th.

Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
