The United Way of Greater Union County, Summit Area Office will be sponsoring a seminar entitled, "Maximizing Your Job Search." As Hope Cassano, Executive Director points out, "Due to the economic downturn, many local residents have lost their jobs. Finding a new position can be stressful and difficult." She continues, "This seminar will give you the tools you need to find the best position for you."
The program has been specially designed so that it is applicable to all industries and job functions. Janet Young, United Way Project Coordinator added, "Participants will come away from this seminar knowing how to sell themselves, succeed in interviewing, develop networking strategies, and use social technology. The list of skills they’ll gain goes on..."
The workshop will be conducted by Pat Hammond, renowned human resource consultant and principal of Work Life Management, LLC. She is a broadly skilled human resources consultant with global experience, a skilled facilitator, a business problem solver, a performance focused executive coach, and a creative career strategist. It will be held on November 16th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in New Providence.
