The Adventures of Annie

Our Spring Concert was called “The Adventures of Annie” was amazing!
Music, Art and Speech Departments work hard to help the students put on a fantastic show. At ECLC’s shows, everyone gets a chance to be up on the stage or work behind the scenes. Some students were stagehands who helped with the props. The TES students were the actors.
I even got to play a part. I was “Andy,” an orphan dog that Annie adopts. It was love at first sight, and she took me home. Each class sang a song and was a member of the chorus. Some of the songs were; “New York, New York,” “I Don’t Need Anything, But You” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed, Without a Smile.”
I can’t believe it is almost June and graduation time. ECLC has so many exciting events.
My name is Gino. I am a specially trained assistance dog from Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). CCI is a national, non-profit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs, like me, to increase independence and enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. Now, I am a Facility Dog at ECLC of New Jersey’s school in Chatham, N.J., for children with special needs.
